Domain Name Transfer:
The first step in getting your new website up and running is the
domain transfer. In order to transfer the domain name for the
website we will need you to email the following information to
us:
First Name:
Last Name:
Address:
City: State:
Zip Code:
Country:
Organization:
Phone Number:
Email Address:
Once we transfer
the domain through godaddy, you will receive an email from Godaddy
with instructions for accepting the domain name transfer. Just
follow the instructions in the email and thats it!
There are no fees for domain name transfers
Web Hosting:
You will need
to purchase a hosting account for your website. We highly recomend
using godaddy as your hosting provider. The economy hosting plans
is moer than sufficient for hosting Onpreneur websites. If you
are planning on hosting more than one webiste the deluxe plans
allows you to host several sites under one account.
When purchasing your plan please remember to chose the linus hosting
as opposed the windows hosting as all Onpreneur site utilize scripts
which require linus hosting in order to function properly.

Once your domain is transfered and you have purchased a hosting
account you will need to configure your account. This involves
setting up your hosting account to host your new domain name.
Usually this is just a simple matter of selecting your domain
from a hosting setup link and then choosing a username and password
for accesing your site by FTP.

Zipped Files:
The majority of Onpreneur websites contain zipped or compressed
files in their download packages. Some older computer systems
may not be able to read zipped files and you may need to download
a zip program in order to access the files.
Recent versions of windows are capable of opening zipped files.
If you are having difficulty opening zip files you may need to
download software to do so.

FTP
Programs:
In order to
access your website files you will need an FTP program. ( File
Transfer Protocol ) FTP software allows you to upload and download
files to your website hosting account. Many hosting accounts including
Godaddy offer web based file transfers as part of their service,
if you are planning on making major changes to your site however
you may wish to look into a FTP program to accomplish this.

Setting
Up Clickbank:
Some Onpreneur websites utilize
ClickBank to take advantage of their large network of affilates
to increase sales. Following are general instructions for setting
up a ClickBank Account.
Register with
clickbank
Login to your clickbank account
Click on the "my products" link Click on the "add products"
Fill out the form in the popup that follows
Where it says Thank You page enter the url of the download page
for the site , fill out the rest of this form as you see fit.
Click on the " My Images" link Enter the location of an image
that you would like to use for the site or product.
Once this information is entered clickbank will check the details
and the product will enter into the clickbank database.
Affiliates will then be able to earn commissions from sales of
the product
